Welcome

Troop 229 is located in Austin, TX. Our charter sponsor is St. Theresa Catholic Church. The Troop was organized in 2009 and has grown to become one of the best Troops in the Armadillo District having earned top District honors for the past three years.

From a humble beginning of six scouts in 2009, Troop 229 has grown to 28 scouts today. We have a long and impressive roster of boys who have earned the rank of Eagle. The goal is to help boys develop into outstanding young men using the values, ideals and processes of the 105 year Boy Scouts of America program.

We meet at St. Theresa Catholic Church located at 4311 Small Drive. Our meetings are on the first Sunday of each month at 2:00 PM in the Family Center. We also have a camp-out each month at various locations in the Central Texas area.
